Dear Second Grade Families,
My name is Michele Link-Valenstein and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year! Second grade is a busy and exciting year! Your children are going to work hard and do their best - everyone at United will be working together to ensure the success of each and every student.
A little information about me - I am originally from Saint Paul, Minnesota. I live in Ames with my husband, Justin, and our Yorkie-Poo, Zoey. Justin is currently a chemistry graduate student at Iowa State University. In my spare time I love to read, go to my workout class, golf, and travel to Minnesota and Wisconsin to visit family.
I encourage you to use this website to gain full understanding of your child's 2nd grade experience. I will update this website throughout the year to include our current units of study and upcoming classroom and school-wide events.
